It's not like Rob Font is so young up and comer so that fight is just a complete waste of everyone's time. Cruz vs Aldo or retirement for Cruz. Dec 5, 2021 · Font threw like 20 leg kicks that all got easily checked. Aldo threw about 5, did massive damage and got a knockdown out of it. He’s clearly still got the speed and power to turn people’s legs into hamburger, I wish he’d do it more consistently.

A very fatigued/zombifiedAldo catches him with another straight putting him on queer street with an arm punch on a clinch break. Aldo almost finishes him but Font makes the bell.

Aug 24, 2022 · Both men are great. But I think Yadong Song is on his way up, and Rob Font may be on his way down. I'd pick Yadong to win if they fought. I was really impressed with Yadong's last few fights, and even the Sandhagen fight.

Apr 9, 2023 · Honestly, if Rob wasn’t old and brittle, I would have a hard time picking Yan over such an active and urgent range boxer built to draw up and punish reactive high guarding like Font after watching Yan repeatedly getting interrupted and shut out of stretches of fights because his opponents have the audacity to do things.

I mean if you’ve watched his earlier fights with Andrade, Almeida Schnell etc you’d know that’s absolute bullshit, Font’s got great power in his right hand. Chito and Aldo just have great defense and are super tough, like have you ever seen Chito’s face look even remotely beat up lmao.
