Scyther is a Bug/Flying type Pokémon introduced in Generation 1. Scyther is a green, insectoid Pokémon. It has large, blade-like forearms, a pair of wings on its back, and it stands on two clawed feet.

Scizor evolves from the Bug/Flying type Scyther, thus losing its Flying type upon evolution - a rare occurrence for Pokémon. Scizor has a Mega Evolution, available in Generation 6 games and Pokémon Go.

Aug 13, 2010 · Scyther has the ability technician to power up weaker moves. Aerial ace has a power of 90 not including STAb, and infinite accuracy can be nice. He has higher speed than scizor, but still has swords dance for the nice power.
