Out of all the MdBlue brick I have had over the last 10 years, I am down to 2/3 a small PAB cup of 1x2, 1x4, 1x1 and 2x2 brick and I still have 9 floors worth of building to fill in.

The first cars were not introduced until 1956 (VW Bus), 1957 (VW Beetle), and 1961... miscellaneous LEGO cars. Here are some of the 1961-66 LEGO 1:87 cars in plastic garages sealed with a banderole... and some 1965-67 LEGO 1:87 cars in cardboard boxes...

Jul 22, 2010 · I agree! That's one of the nice things about LEGO: finding a new use for an existing part, like revolvers for handlebars or palm tree trunk pieces as exhaust pipes. That said, there are some really UNNECESSARY parts in existence. Maybe not useless, but more of a "why does this exist" thing, like some of those Jack Stone parts, or the 1 x 2 x 2 ...

That's about in line with the flagship sets for most play themes today, but $55 is less than the retail price of a modern X-wing unless you get it on sale.
