Mike Nolan and the Panthers got here by defeating the Birmingham Stallions in last Sunday’s USFL Conference Championship, ending their losing streak against the winners of three straight spring football championships in the USFL and UFL.

Perkins leads the Panthers in the UFL Championship against the DC Defenders at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 14 on ABC. He was also named the UFL Offensive Player of the Year earlier this week.

The United Football League announced that Michigan Panthers quarterback Bryce Perkins is the 2025 UFL MVP. Perkins, a former Los Angeles Rams backup and star at the University of Virginia, earned the MVP award despite missing three of the Panthers' 10 games.
