Houston weather: Muggy and warm Tuesday morning
It's forecasted to be very warm on Tuesday with Houston's record high smashed on Monday. The previous record was 80° and we hit 83°. Likewise, Galveston's high of 76 degrees broke the previous record of 75 degrees.

A daily heat record was broken Monday at Houston’s official climate observation site, Bush Intercontinental Airport, where high temperatures reached the low 80s for the first time this year. Similar levels of warmth are in the forecast Tuesday after another round of dense morning fog dissipates.

This week, the Houston area will experience unseasonably warm temperatures, with highs ranging from the upper 70s to low 80s. Morning fog is anticipated each day, gradually giving way to partly sunny or mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.
