F ew will forget the tumultuous few weeks during 2023 when OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman was fired and then returned to his position at the pioneering Artificial Intelligence company. Perhaps it's no surprise that such a startling turn of events is now fodder for a major motion picture.

Sam Altman is in the process of co-founding a new brain-to-computer interface startup called Merge Labs, and raising funds for it with the capital expected to largely come from OpenAI’s ventures team, unnamed sources told the Financial Times.

Elon Musk’s long running feud with fellow billionaire Sam Altman is now threatening to suck technology giant Apple into a legal morass. Mr. Musk is threatening to sue Apple because his X and Grok artificial intelligence apps are not among the top recommended apps in the Apple app store.
