Meta Platforms has reportedly offered a more than $200 million pay package to poach Apple’s top executive in charge of artificial intelligence models, as the Facebook parent builds up its new “Superintelligence” AI division.

Meta Platforms Inc. has made unusually high compensation offers to new members of its “superintelligence” team — including a more than $200 million package for a former Apple Inc. distinguished engineer.

Meta offered one of Apple's top artificial intelligence executives over $200 million to lure him away from the company, Bloomberg reports.
