Goodbye Market Grille, hello Market Grille Express. Hy-Vee is converting one of its local in-store, full-service Market Grille restaurants into a dining concept that doesn't include wait staff.

Delivery service for Market Grille is available daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch, except at the downtown Des Moines store, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at all six locations.

The Market Grille conversions, when completed, will give Hy-Vee 27 Wahlburgers locations overall. Gayman said grand opening dates and details on the new Wahlburgers are upcoming.

On weekdays, all Market Grille locations will be open from 6 to 11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for lunch and dinner. Breakfast will be available from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the weekends.

Market Grille has fun with its desserts, too, like a housemade pumpkin whoopie pie filled with maple marshmallow whiskey cream, and a plate of fresh-baked cookies with a shot of cold milk.
