La Liga have followed through on the threat of their President Javier Tebas, today submitting a formal complaint about Real Madrid following their letter to the President of the Royal Spanish

Spanish league president Javier Tebas has lashed out at Real Madrid. He says the club leadership has “lost its mind” for accusing Spain’s referees of being biased against the defending champion.

A 1-1 draw saw the Madrid derby end all square for Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, with the La Liga title race remaining very close with only a point between the teams.

Real Madrid takes on Atlético Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday, Feb. 8. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. CET local time, making it a 3 p.m. ET and 12 p.m. PT start in the US, an 8 p.m. GMT start in the UK and a 7 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia on Sunday morning.
