Romo returned to snap the Cowboys' losing streak following Hicks' sack in 2015 but re-injured the same collarbone after he was sacked by Carolina Panthers' linebacker Thomas Davis on Thanksgiving Day. It effectively ended his season, and the Cowboys finished 4-12, last in the NFC East.
The Cleveland Browns linebacker position lacked depth this season. They targeted Carson Schwesinger in the NFL Draft, and assumed that veteran Jordan Hicks would be present for the second year of his deal. He was absent at the start of training camp, and now has provided a reason why.
Jordan Hicks played a vital part on several Vikings defenses and now he is hanging it up while being a member of the Browns.
