The Chicago Bears safety was on hand to witness his wife deliver the iconic 'Riders Up' call at Saturday's annual event, with fans quickly latching on to what he did during her big moment

Houston native and Olympic champion Simone Biles delivered the traditional "Riders Up" call just before the main race at Saturday's Kentucky Derby in Louisville. But it was the coordinated looks she and husband Jonathan Owens chose that grabbed attention.

Currently, Owens plays for the Chicago Bears. He joined the team after spending the 2023 season with the Green Bay Packers. In 2024, Owens appeared in all 17 games for the Bears, starting five of them. He recorded 30 solo tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble during the season.
