Massive new flag poles are being installed on the White House grounds today, after President Donald Trump said they were desperately needed and he would pay for them himself.

“These are the most magnificent poles made,” Trump claimed Tuesday of the new additions. “They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality. Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!”

Following the announcement of the erection of two enormous flagpoles on the White House grounds—a “gift” from the president that he claimed “was always missing”—Donald Trump proceeded with his White House renovation on Tuesday.
