Vandersloot sustained the injury at the 5:29 mark of the first quarter of Saturday night’s loss to Indiana while driving to the basket

The Chicago Sky’s historic first game at the United Center ended with a 79-52 loss to the Indiana Fever — and an injury to Courtney Vandersloot.

The 15-year veteran was averaging 12.0 points and 6.7 assists this season entering Saturday's rematch with the Fever, in her return to the organization. Vandersloot was an anchor in Chicago for most of her career before playing for the Liberty for the last two seasons, where she won her second WNBA championship.
