Boston tops the list of the most collision-prone cities in the US, according to auto insurance data from Allstate, which found that two other Massachusetts cities — Worcester and Springfield — also rank in the top five.

One person died following an early morning crash where the Sumner Tunnel meets Interstate 93 at Government Center. It's one of the incidents causing heavy traffic in Boston on Friday morning. Massachusetts State Police said that the crash in the tunnel occurred at 3:30 a.m.
