Bar K dog bar closes all locations, citing Kansas City's riverfront construction and rising costs
Bar K on the Berkley Riverfront was a popular destination for dog owners, and had expanded to St. Louis and Oklahoma City. On Tuesday, the company announced all its locations were shuttered, effective immediately.
On Tuesday, members received email notice of the closure, a statement was posted to the company website and all company social media was deactivated.
Bar K, which sought to combine a bar and restaurant with a dog park, announced it was permanently closing Tuesday.
