Usher revealed to Jennifer Hudson on the Tuesday, Feb. 4 episode of her eponymous talk show that he was supposed to star alongside her, Beyoncé and Anika Noni Rose in the 2006 movie musical, 'Dreamgirls.

Although Usher did not specify which role he was to play, Playbill claimed in May 2005 that he was expected to play C.C. White
