The price of food is not getting any cheaper. The higher prices of eggs, dairy, meat, and other products are now creating a higher demand at local food banks.

Better Lives RI is thanking the public for their help after receiving numerous donations to their food pantry.

“We have no food to serve the people of Rhode Island,” the nonprofit organization wrote in a Facebook post, which included pictures of empty pantry shelves.
