Sonic the Hedgehog has proven itself to be one of the most loved video game adaptation franchises in cinema, but one of its biggest contenders is in no rush to make even their first sequel.

Sonic 3 is now the second highest-grossing video game movie ever at the box office. Last weekend's numbers put it at $462 million and counting, moving it past Detective Pikachu and Warcraft.
