Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has been upgraded to questionable for Game 3 of their first-round series against the Orlando Magic on Friday. Tatum suffered a right distal radius bone bruise in Game 1.

The Celtics’ official account on X/Twitter shared, “Jayson Tatum is the first Celtic to average 25+ PPG in five straight seasons, surpassing Larry Bird’s previous record of four.” It’s an astonishing achievement, considering all the fabled Celtics since the team’s inception in 1946.

The Tatum injury is vital to Boston’s quest to repeat as NBA champions, and some were led to believe the injury was not an incidental action by the Magic guard. One person in particular who accused Caldwell-Pope of intentionally hurting Tatum was Celtics veteran center Al Horford.
