A suspect is accused of stealing cash from a Chick-fil-A after pepper-spraying its employees and then leading police on a chase that ended in a crash that killed another person, officials said.
An employee told police that the suspect took a cash drawer from a register at the drive-thru window and sped away.
It happened around 8 p.m. on Friday when police responded to the 600 block of Pepperwood Lane to a report of a person shot.
