Just one day removed from signing a five-year max extension with the Memphis Grizzlies, former Michigan State star and the 2023 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Jaren Jackson Jr., has undergone surgery on a turf toe injury in his right foot that he apparently suffered playing basketball this recently.

The Memphis Grizzlies wasted no time in securing their franchise cornerstone, Jaren Jackson Jr., for the foreseeable future. The two-time All-Star agreed to sign a four-year, $240 million contract extension with the team.
