There have been more than a few Pokémon remakes throughout the franchise's life cycle, and each one introduces a ton of questions about what makes a good remake versus a cheap cash-in on well-earned nostalgia.

After a three-year gap between games, The Pokémon Company recently revealed that Pokémon Legends Z-A will arrive in late 2025. Given that Nintendo tends to release major games during the US holiday period, we would expect a launch no sooner than November.
