After a season filled with highlight-reel plays and dominant performances, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has officially been named the 2024 NFL MVP, edging out Lamar Jackson in one of the closest races in recent memory.

After the win, patients from Buffalo's Oishei Children's Hospital sent Allen their congratulations via a heartwarming video. Allen often volunteers in the Patricia Allen Pediatric Recovery Wing, which is named after his grandmother. Upon seeing the video, Allen was immediately moved to tears.

We'll probably keep rehashing the why of what went down for a while, but let's not forget to focus on the other added benefit of the MVP selection for Allen: he just got a free wedding out of the deal.
