J.T. Miller took the high road. Despite his ugly Canucks departure, the Rangers center only had praise for his former organization.

The game will be Miller’s first against the Canucks since they traded him to New York in January. He played 404 games with Vancouver and emerged as one of the league’s premier centers while with the club. He’s one of only two players in Canucks history, along with Pavel Bure, to average more than a point per game.

Miller took a leave of absence from the Canucks early in the season amid reports of a rift with teammate Elias Pettersson. Both players landed on the trade block but Miller was the one they moved. Miller downplayed the rift ahead of Saturday's game, speaking about Jim Rutherford's comments ahead of the trade.
