President Donald Trump on Wednesday met with Taoiseach of Ireland Micheál Martin at the White House. Before the meeting, Martin expressed the importance of the U.S. and Ireland having a good relationship as a lot of Irish business is conducted in the U.S., according to The Hill newspaper.
