A proposal to increase maximum speeds on Florida highways is moving forward in both legislative chambers, with the House adding it Tuesday to a wide-ranging transportation bill.

The overhead bridge will be closed. The eastbound Ohio Turnpike bridge deck over Skadden Road/state Route 99 (milepost 111.2) will be replaced. The work began April 7 and will end Nov. 8.
