On Tuesday at 9:53 p.m. an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the NWS Blacksburg VA valid from Wednesday 6 a.m. until Thursday 1 p.m. The advisory is for Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.

New Jersey is bracing for two rounds of snow and ice starting Tuesday afternoon. The first storm could bring 4 to 8 inches of snow to southern counties.
