Indeed, Ange Postecoglou is likely to be sacked at the end of the season after dragging Spurs down to being a bottom-half side this term. Tottenham have a few managerial targets in mind – Marco Silva has been linked to Spurs lately.

Postecoglou gave Dominic Solanke, who scored the decisive goal, a huge hug, while the rest of the squad lapped up the applause from the fans. It is the first time they have been united in months and Postecoglou had a rare smile etched across his face.
