Six Flags has hung a For Sale sign in front of two parks in the D.C. area and is looking to sell more of the 42 locations in the amusement park chain.

After more than a quarter century of thrills and fun, Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., will close at the end of this season.

Six Flags announced that it will sell its property in Maryland to be redeveloped. The parks will remain open until November.
