The Prince and Princess of Wales have been front and centre this year. And from Princess Kate's return to duty to Prince William's role elevation, the royal couple has been making non-stop headlines.

A new royal tell-all book is hitting shelves this month, and in an excerpt from Tom Quinn's Yes Ma'am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, published in the Times Feb. 6, the royal author reveals a story about Prince William that will tug at anyone's heartstrings.

"I think William and Kate see George as primus inter pares—first among equals," Phil said. “Obviously he is the most important one. Yes, he is the future King but the way things are going Charlotte and Louis may have major roles in the future. Certainly the royal family will need them as they are getting thin on the ground."
