A growing number of House Republicans -- from moderates to hardliners -- are expressing grievances with key components of the megabill encompassing President Donald Trump’s legislative agenda -- threatening to undercut the package’s momentum ahead of an expected vote late next week.

Two committees advanced legislation that would combine into the “big beautiful bill” to enact President Trump’s agenda, and a third was on track to do so.

There were cheers when Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee signed off on the GOP tax breaks bill after a round-the-clock session that pushed President Donald Trump’s package past overwhelming Democratic opposition.
