A tall fountain of lava is spewing from a volcano on Hawaii's Big Island. A webcam on Tuesday shows vigorous streams of red lava in the latest episode of an eruption that has paused and resumed.

Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano is currently spewing fiery red-orange lava up to 250 feet high from its north vent – in what’s called ‘Episode 8’ of the ongoing Halemaʻumaʻu eruption.

The world’s most active volcano is at it again after Hawaii’s Kilauea began its seventh episode of its ongoing eruption, with video showing lava shooting more than 100 feet into the air.

The Kilauea volcano at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is spewing lava once again, the seventh recorded episode in recent weeks.

Episode seven of the ongoing Halemaumau eruption began at 6:42 p.m. and is currently feeding a small flow on the crater floor, according to the U.S. Geological Survey Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. Lava fountains are 10- to 20-feet high and this episode is likely to last 10 to 20 hours, scientists said.
