Kansas basketball coach Bill Self was released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday, two days after having two stents inserted into his heart to treat blocked arteries.

It’s been years since the Kansas Jaywhawks knew that they were going to get Darryn Peterson. He committed in 9th grade, and he never hesitated to honor that commitment. So, the Jayhawks and the coaching staff have had more than enough time to evaluate him on and off the court and know what they were going to get next season.
