The Dallas Cowboys welcomed another alpha personality to their wide receivers room this week after trading for George Pickens, but No. 1 pass catcher CeeDee Lamb has no concerns about his own ego as this partnership takes form.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday that the Cowboys agreed to acquire George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a third-round pick and additional pick swaps. Cowboys No. 1 wideout CeeDee Lamb seemed to indicate Tuesday night on X that he knew something big was on the horizon:
CeeDee Lamb appeared to know the Dallas Cowboys' trade for George Pickens was coming. The star wideout posted a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) early on Wednesday morning before news broke of the reported Pickens trade that sent the disgruntled wide receiver from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Cowboys.
George Pickens blasted the Steelers on Instagram after being traded to Dallas, expressing raw frustration over the team's decisions.
"I feel great. I like the mojo here," George Pickens said Thursday. He fills a large void at receiver for the Cowboys.
