Vice President JD Vance visited East Palestine on Monday to see what still needs to be done and how to avoid another disaster.

While visiting East Palestine two years after the train derailment, Vice President JD Vance shared a strong message that the community will not be left behind and will build back better.

We are in it for the long haul in East Palestine,” Vance, a former US senator from Ohio, said in remarks from the town’s fire station.
