Brandon Moreno is a former two-time UFC flyweight champion. Despite his phenomenal success, Moreno has never won a UFC fight in his home country of Mexico. On Saturday, Moreno has a fifth chance to right that wrong at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City.
As reported on the UFC Mexico City broadcast, the scheduled welterweight fight between Carlos Prates and Geoff Neal is off UFC 314 after Neal withdrew due to an injury. As of this writing, the UFC isn’t planning on finding a short-notice replacement opponent for Prates, and he could be rebooked against a new opponent at a new timeframe.

The UFC is back at the Las Vegas APEX for an ESPN Fight Night this weekend. As usual, the card isn't too strong, but might still produce some fun fights.
UFC on ESPN 64 takes place at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The event features a flyweight showdown between former champ Brandon Moreno and former title challenger Steve Erceg. Elsewhere, many other combat sports events are taking place, featuring several familiar names who have competed under the UFC banner.
