A Louisiana woman who was previously facing fraud and other charges after the death of sports reporter Adan Manzano has now been charged with second-degree murder in his death, the Kenner Police Department announced Tuesday.

Authorities in Louisiana say a woman has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a television reporter on assignment to cover the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Danette Colbert, the woman last seen with a Super Bowl reporter who was later found dead in his Kenner hotel room, has been booked with second-degree murder in his death, Kenner police confirmed Tuesday.
