Alexander (undisclosed) was waived with a non-football injury designation Monday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Alexander had been sidelined to begin training camp after signing with the Seahawks in May as an undrafted free agent out of LSU.
Ahead of training camp, the Seahawks placed six rookies on the non-football injury list. That essentially means they were already injured from prior settings before getting to camp. Players on the NFI can be activated at any time during training camp. They can't practice until being activated.
