Portland’s postal workers will join mail carriers nationwide Sunday to protest the Trump administration’s efforts to bring heavy cuts to the U.S. Postal Service. Members of the National Association of Letter Carriers are gathering to protest federal efforts to severely slash the postal service’s workforce and restructure the agency.

Protesters in downtown Portland made their concerns loud and clear as postal workers rallied before marching to Pioneer Square is part of a nationwide movement.

As part of an ongoing nationwide effort to rally support, United States postal workers in Portland will hold a march Sunday to decry any potential move to privatize the mail service.
