A judge issued a preliminary injunction that allowed only some of the group’s health centers to receive payments for services like birth control and checkups.

A Republican bill that temporarily restricts Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood will affect about one third of patients at its only West Virginia clinic, according to officials with the organization.

Planned Parenthood serves more than 1.3 million patients across California, more than 80% of whom are on Medicaid, known here as Medi-Cal.
