Crowds marched through the streets of Pacoima on Sunday for the Cesar Chavez March for Justice, a day before Cesar Chavez Day.

The sole occupant of a vehicle was killed following a collision with a Los Angeles Fire Department fire engine in Pacoima.

Authorities said a Los Angeles City Fire Department engine collided with a Toyota Corolla on Sunday when the car tried to turn in front of it in Pacoima.

Access to the Pacific Coast Highway is limited, and road closures have been in place since the recent Los Angeles wildfires.
