GREEN BAY, Wis. — Packers quarterback Jordan Love spoke at length after Monday’s closed practice with head coach Matt LaFleur and trainers Bryan Engel and Nate Weir. He was flexing his left, non-throwing thumb, which was taped for the entirety of practice.

Green Bay's collective performance versus the Jets was undercooked, but there were several players who improved their stock with strong displays.

"When we faced him last year, I felt like if you could get to him, you could rattle him," an NFL defensive coach told Mike Sando of The Athletic. "He distributes the ball, and they have big skill (players who are) tough to bring down. That is how he makes his hay. I do not watch him and think, 'Oh, he is f--king people up.'"
