There is anger, fear and some nationalistic reactions as the two countries that for generations have had deep business and cultural ties with the U.S. find themselves in Trump’s sights.

They were mostly positive, but a few angrily pointed out something I hadn’t given a second thought: Mexican flags. The tricolor is part of the Santa Ana landscape, so it easily escaped my attention.
