After 12 years of playing, a Danville man has finally won $25,000 a year for life on the Kentucky Lottery’s Lucky For Life game.

Officials with the Kentucky Lottery reported that a Danville man has won $25,000 a year for life after playing the Kentucky Lottery's Lucky For Life.

The man, from Danville, won the prize playing the Kentucky Lottery's Lucky For Life game. He told lottery officials he started playing the game 12 years ago after seeing a commercial for it. The man purchased his ticket from the Five Star on Jan 30, finding out he won the $25,000 for life prize the day after.

This marks the second time in just two months that someone in Kentucky has won $25,000 a year for life on the Lucky For Life® game.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Danville, Kentucky, man won $25,000 a year for life after playing Kentucky Lottery games for 12 years. According to the Kentucky Lottery, the man (who wishes to remain anonymous), purchased a $10 Lucky For Life ticket for five sets of numbers at the Five Star on Denmark Drive for the Jan. 30 drawing.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WBKO)—A Jeffersonville woman who was craving ice cream ended up with $1 million. The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, set out last week to get a Dairy Queen Blizzard but stopped at a gas station, where she purchased a $20 Kentucky Jackpot ticket.
