Even though the Olympics were months ago, the awkward tension between Warriors coach Steve Kerr and Celtics star Jayson Tatum. When the Warriors and Celtics faced off this week, that much was evident.

As Kerr said, Tatum did not complain about his reduced role for the national squad, despite the fact that he was coming off an NBA championship with the Celtics at that time. Instead, the five-time All-Star humbly accepted his role for Team USA and did all he could to help the squad achieve its ultimate goal.

The drama surrounding the move has quieted down in recent months as the NBA season continued but resurfaced again on Monday. Cameras caught Celtics stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown appearing to give Kerr the cold shoulder after Boston’s blowout win over Golden State.
