Day 3 of the 2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships came to an end on Friday, with some hardware handed out. U.S. skater Alysa Liu wrapped up a stellar free skate performance, earning a gold medal and becoming the first American women's figure skating world champion since 2006.

American Alysa Liu produced a sensational and joyous performance and struck gold at the World Figure Skating Championships in Boston on Friday in the sport's biggest event ahead of the 2026 Olympics.
