SPOKANE, Wash. – Sunday marks the 135th anniversary of Calvary Baptist Church, the oldest Black church in Washington State.

Two centuries later, the church still opens its doors every Sunday, with members coming from all walks of life.

Franks' organs were donated. The funeral is set to take place at Calvary Baptist Church on Linwood Avenue at 3 p.m. The family is requesting guests to wear purple as that was her favorite color.
