DOGE has rapidly expanded its presence across multiple federal agencies, with reports confirming that representatives visited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday.

A team from DOGE reportedly visited the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Wednesday and requested lists of new employees and employees who are still on probation. Lawmakers are split on what DOGE is trying to accomplish.

The union president for workers at the CDC and another source confirmed to 11Alive that a representative from DOGE has been to the agency's Atlanta headquarters.

The so-called DOGE team was on the ground in metro Atlanta. Representatives for Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency reportedly came to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week.
