As Hollywood week wraps up on Season 23 of “American Idol,” fans of the show are one step closer to selecting the next winner. Judges Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan confirmed all members of the Top 24 on Monday night’s episode of the singing competition, which showed 42 “Idol” hopefuls entering a “head to head” duet challenge.

The group includes a son of a Backstreet Boy and 2 singers who have been finalists on ‘The Voice’ in the last few years.

With four singers already safe, the remaining 42 competed in the head-to-head round to earn one of the last 20 spots.
