Fans are not pleased with David Lynch's short Oscars tribute and the omission of Michelle Trachtenberg, Tony Todd, Olivia Hussey and several other actors and filmmakers from the In Memoriam section at Sunday's 97th Academy Awards.

Oscars got reflective with the traditional In Memoriam segment celebrating the entertainment figures who died over the past year as the names scrolled onscreen. Notable names in filmmaking including David Lynch,

Mitzi Gaynor, Olivia Hussey, Bernard Hill, Silvia Pinal and Alain Delon were also among the big names missing from the somber section.

The Academy Awards didn't use a few extra seconds to honor actors who left a huge dent in Hollywood, and fans are not having it.

Eagle-eyed viewers on social media immediately noticed a few big names not mentioned on the broadcast, including Michelle Trachtenberg, Olivia Hussey and Tony Todd. While all three are honored on the Oscar's dedicated "In Memoriam" page online, they were not shown in the montage during the show on ABC. Their fans were, understandably, not happy.
